Sommore, born Lori Ann Rambough on May 15, 1966, is a comedian and actress from the United States. Her humorous approach includes stinging sarcasm and candid topics about money, sex, and gender equality.
She is known as the “Diva of Contemporary Comedy.” She rose to prominence as the first female presenter of the long-running Black Entertainment Television (BET) stand-up showcase ComicView, and as one of four female comedians who headlined The Queens of Comedy tour.
She has acted in popular Black films like as Friday After Next, Soul Plane, and Dirty Laundry, and she has won the Richard Pryor Award for Comic of the Year.
