Kevin Carberry is an American football coach and former defensive lineman who is currently the offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League.
Carberry graduated from Ohio University in 2005 with a degree in marketing where he was named a second-team All-MAC selection in 2004 as a team captain. The Ohio Bobcats football team is a major intercollegiate varsity sports program of Ohio University.
The team represents the university as the senior member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), playing at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. The Bobcats have played their home games in Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio since 1929.
As a player, he was undrafted in the 2005 NFL Draft. The 2005 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 23–24, 2005.
He went to the Cleveland Browns training camp but did not make the roster and luckily for Carberry, he was signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad for the remainder of the 2005 season
