Hunter Long is a tight end for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He was born on August 19, 1998, in Exeter, New Hampshire, a country in the United States. His hometown of Exeter is where he was raised. After graduating from Exeter High School, he spent a year at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts, where he played football as a student.
He played tight end and defensive end in high school. As a senior, he hauled in 30 passes for 508 yards, two scores, and seven sacks. He later played collegiate football for the Boston College Eagles while a student at Boston College. He redshirted his freshman year at Boston College in 2017.
In the 12 games he played in 2018, he had four receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns, which was excellent. In 2019, he caught 28 catches for a grand total of 509 yards and two touchdowns. He returned in 2020 and replaced the team’s previous starting tight end. The Miami Dolphins selected him in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract with Miami in July 2021.
