As a result of this, he finished the season with a record of 5-3 and a 4.24 ERA in 50 appearances. Despite the pandemic-shortened season in 2020, where he went 3-0, 2.59 in 25 games, he rebounded strongly.

During the playoffs, he made six appearances, helping the Dodgers win their first World Series since 1988.

Although he didn’t play a role in any of the decisions, he wasn’t at his best in the championship round, giving up two runs in two appearances against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Marlins acquired him in a deal on February 12, 2021, in exchange for Ps Kyle Hurt and Alex Vesia.
