Justus Sheffield, whose full name is Justus Kane Sheffield, is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Major League Baseball team the Seattle Mariners. Justus Sheffield was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, on May 13, 1996. Justus is reported to have previously played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians when he was picked in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft.
His early career days outline that, he attended Tullahoma High School in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Whiles in High school he played baseball throwing two no-hitters while in high school which included a 17-strikeout game as a senior. He was named the Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year. He gained some commitment to play baseball at Vanderbilt University.
He commenced his professional career with the Cleveland Indians when he was selected in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft. He recorded a throw of 127 with two thirds and Made a record of 9-4 with an ERA of 3.31
He, later on, joined the New York Yankees in the year July 31, 2016, where he was traded by the Indians together with three others in exchange for one Andrew Miller. Then on November 19, 2018, he joined the Seattle Mariners. He made his debut appearance on April 26, 2019.
