Lewis Tom Cine is a safety with the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings. He is originally from Haiti. He attended Georgia and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Cine was born on October 5, 1999, in Haiti, and moved to the United States when he was four years old, first staying in Florida with his family before moving to Everett, Massachusetts.
He went to Everett High School. After leading Everett to an alternate consecutive MIAA state title with 65 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt, he was awarded the Massachusetts Defensive Player of the Year by USA Today.
Cine appeared in all 14 of Georgia’s games as a freshman, starting the final two. In his second season, he was named the Bulldogs’ starting safety.
