Matthew Montgomery Barkley, a quarterback with the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills, was born on September 8, 1990. (NFL). In the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected him after watching him play college football for USC.
Additionally, he has played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and Arizona Cardinals.
Barkley was raised in Santa Ana and went to Mater Dei High School. She was born in Newport Beach, California. He was Todd Marinovich’s replacement as Mater Dei’s first rookie quarterback to start in 2005.
In order to take part in spring practice with the USC Trojans football team, Barkley enrolled at the University of Southern California in January 2009 after graduating from high school one semester early. For the following four seasons, from 2009 to 2012, he will play for the Trojans.
The Bills and Barkley have agreed to a one-year contract. The 31-year-old Barkley, who was a member of the Buffalo Bills from 2018 through 2020, is set to serve as the team’s third quarterback this time around, behind Josh Allen and recently signed Case Keenum.
The California native formerly played three seasons (2018–2020) with the Bills. He completed 53 of 97 throws for 788 passing yards and three touchdowns while playing in New York.
