Xi Mingze is the sole child of Xi Jinping, China’s supreme leader and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and Peng Liyuan, a traditional opera singer.
Xi was born in the Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital on June 25, 1992.
She is Xi Jinping’s and Peng Liyuan’s only child. Xi maintains a low profile, and very little of her personal information has been made public.
She attended Hangzhou Foreign Language School, where she studied French from 2006 to 2008.
After a year of undergraduate education at Zhejiang University, Xi enrolled at Harvard University in the United States in 2010.
She registered under a fictitious name and kept a low profile. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2014 and has since returned to China. She is currently residing in Beijing as of 2015.
Xi volunteered for a week as a disaster relief worker in Hanwang, Mianzhu, following the 2008 Sichuan earthquake.
In 2013, she made her first public appearance with her parents in Yan’an, Shaanxi, in the Liangjiahe village, where they gave the villagers Lunar New Year wishes.
Reading and fashion are two of her passions.

Xi Mingze is still unmarried, despite approaching 30 years of age and being the only child and daughter of Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, there are high hopes for her wedding. Xi Mingze is currently single and has no plans to marry.
