James Marinan (born October 10, 1998) is a professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds of the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Marinan graduated from Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. On July 4, 2018, the Los Angeles Dodgers traded Marinan and Aneurys Zabala to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for Dylan Floro and Zach Neal.
Marinan will join the Reds’ 40-man roster following the 2021 season.
