Jerrel Floyd Hasselbaink, also known as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, is a former player and current manager in the Dutch professional football league. His birthday is March 27, 1972. Jimmy started off playing football as a goalkeeper before switching to a right winger and then a forward. He started his senior career with Telstar and AZ Alkmaar before relocating to Portugal in August 1995 to play for Campomaiorense. The following year, he joined Boavista, and in 1997, he and the team won the Taça de Portugal.
He spent one season as the manager of Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Second Division after being appointed in May 2013. He was appointed by Burton Albion in England in November 2014, and in his first season there, he guided them to their first-ever promotion to League One as League Two champions. He was named manager of Queens Park Rangers in the Championship in December 2015.
He worked there for 11 months before being fired in November 2016. He served as the manager of League One team Northampton Town from September 2017 to April 2018. He was given the position of manager of Burton Albion for the second time in his career on January 1st, 2021.
