The world’s top doubles player, Joe Salisbury, a professional tennis player from the United Kingdom, was born on April 20, 1992.
He won the men’s doubles at the Australian Open and US Open in 2020 and 2021. He is a four-time Grand Slam champion.
His sparring partner during these victories was Rajeev Ram. The mixed doubles category titles at the 2021 French Open and the 2021 United States Open were won by Salisbury and Desirae Krawczyk.
Aside from those successes, he also finished second with Ram or Harriet Dart in the men’s doubles category at the 2021 Australian Open and the mixed doubles event at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.
Following in the footsteps of Jamie and Andy Murray, Salisbury attained world No. 1 status in either the singles or doubles tournaments in April 2022.
The two most notable ATP doubles championships he has won are the 2021 Canadian Open and the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters. In two other competitions in 2021, he finished in second place: the Italian Open and the ATP Finals.
Salisbury will play for the United Kingdom in the Davis Cup for the first time in 2021. He also participated in the 2020 Olympic Games alongside Andy Murray.
