When we talk famous about English cricket, Jofra Archer is a name that can not be left out. Jofra Chioke Archer is a Barbadian-born English cricketer born on April 1, 1995, to English father Frank Archer and Bajan mother Joelle Waithe.
His parents split up when he was three. He made his first debut internationally for England in May 2019 as a right-arm fast bowler.
In 2020, Archer was named as one of the Wisden cricketers of the year after making a test debut against Australia later after his international debut.

Joelle Waithe is the mother of Jofra Archer. She is a Barbados woman who takes great pride in supporting and watching her only son play cricket.
She at one point had to travel 4,000 miles from her home in Barbados to watch her son play and cheer him on in the cricket world cup finals. Joelle, 51 is currently married to Patrick Waithe who actually helped Jofra develop his love for cricket.
