Jonathan Marshall was born on September 16, 1997, he is an American football defensive tackle for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football in Arkansas.

Marshall was drafted by the New York Jets in the sixth round, 207th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. On May 7, 2021, Marshall officially signed with the Jets.
His cousin, Cedric Reed, is also a National Football League player and is currently a free agent. He is also related to Cedrick Hardman, who played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders from 1970 to 1981, winning Super Bowl XV with the Raiders in 1981.
He started all 10 games for the Razorbacks on the defensive line. Made 35 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss for the second-most on the team. Led the Hogs with four quarterback hurries and registered a team-high 29 QB pressures according to PFF.
