Professional footballer Jordan Stout is a placekicker and punter for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He stands 1.91 m tall and weighs 95 kg. He was born and raised in Honaker, Virginia, and graduated from Honaker High School.
He was named the Tigers’ team MVP as a senior after nailing all nine of his field goal attempts and averaging 47 yards on each punt. He was a three-time All-State selection at kicker. He attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University after graduating from high school, where he played football for the Virginia Tech Hokies from 2017 to 2018.
He joined the squad as a walk-on and redshirted his true freshman year. He was a kickoff specialist and had 60 touchbacks on 71 kickoff attempts as a redshirt freshman. After the season was over, he decided to transfer to Penn State, which had given him an athletic scholarship, and signed up for the NCAA transfer site.
From 2019 to 2021, he participated in football for the Penn State Nittany Lions. The first athlete to handle kickoffs, field goals, and punts for the team since Chris Bahr in 1975, he was appointed Penn State’s kicker before the start of his redshirt senior season. In the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens.
