In November, Warrington came out on top for his first expert championship after he crushed the already unbeaten Dudley-conceived prospect Chris Male (11-0) by consistent choice in a ten-round challenge to come out on top for the empty English featherweight championship. The battle occurred at the Venue in Dudley on 9 November.
