Julio Jones who was raised by a single parent was born on February 8, 1989, in Alabama. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2011 NFL Draft in the first round of the draft selection.
In high school, Jones developed an interest in American football, which he pursued throughout his life. For his high school team, he was a defensive end with a broad receiving role. He has 1,306 receiving yards in his rookie season.
