Julio Urías is a professional baseball pitcher who is known to play professionally for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). Julio has a height of 1.83m and earns a salary of $1 million yearly from the Dodgers.
Julio was born to Carlos Urias and Juana Isabell Urias on August 12, 1996, in Culiacán, a town in Mexico. The Dodgers met Julio at a showcase in Oaxaca, Mexico and decided to sign him. They signed him and paid a signing fee of $450,000 out of which most was given to Julio’s team, the Diablos Rojos del México of the Mexican League.
Julio then moved to America to begin his professional career with the Dodgers. He started in minor leagues and made his professional debut in 2013 playing for the Great Lakes Loons in the Midwest League. The following year in 2014, he played for the World Team at the 2014 All-Star Futures Game.
In May 2016, the Dodgers promoted him to the major leagues and he made his MLB debut that day for the Dodgers when they played against the New York Mets.
