Julius Randle is a professional basketball player who plays for the New York Knicks basketball team of the National Basketball Association(NBA). He was born on 29th November 1994 in Dallas, Texas. He has a height of 2.03m.
Julius had his amateur career at the Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas, USA. In school, he was known to be one of the top 5 players in his batch. He completed high school in 2013 after which he went to Kentucky University and played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team.
Julius began his professional career with the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team after he was selected by the team in the 2014 NBA draft overall pick. He played for the team from 2014 up until early 2018 when he got a new contract.
His new contract came from the New Orleans Pelicans team on July 9, 2018. He signed a two-year contract which was worth $18 with the Pelicans. The following year, he left the Pelicans to play for the New York Knicks after signing a three-year contract of $63 million with them.
