Who is Kelly Pegula’s sister, Jessica Pegula?
Jessica Pegula is a professional tennis player from the United States. She was born on February 24, 1994. The 18th of July in 2022 marked the day that she reached a new career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 7 in the
world. Pegula has competed in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam singles tournament on three separate occasions, most notably at the 2021 and 2022 Australian Opens, as well as once at the 2022 French Open.
She has also competed in the Grand Slam finals in the doubles event, which she did with her fellow teammate Coco Gauff.
Pegula is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, who own both the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. Pegula herself is named after her parents.
Her mother was born in Seoul, but she was adopted when she was only five years old, so she has Korean ancestry.
In the year 2021, Pegula tied the knot with Taylor Gahagen, who was both a corporate executive for Pegula Sports and Entertainment as well as an animal benefactor.
In the year 2020, Pegula made her debut in World TeamTennis after signing with the Orlando Storm at the beginning of the season.
Pegula’s impressive singles record of 9–2 was a big reason why the Storm was able to secure the No. 3 seed in the WTT playoffs.
The Storm’s season came to an end in the semifinals when they were defeated by the Chicago Smash.
