Kendall Blanton, a tight end for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League, was born on November 10, 1995. When he was in school, he participated in football at the University of Missouri.
Blanton was a five-year member of the Missouri Tigers, redshirting his initial season. He had 44 receptions for 476 yards and six scores in 43 games throughout his college career.
On April 29, 2019, Blanton was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. On August 31, 2019, he was released as part of the team’s final roster cuts and signed to the practice squad the following day.
On December 3, 2019, the Rams made Blanton an active member of their roster. On December 12, 2019, he made his NFL debut against the Seattle Seahawks, playing four special teams snaps in a 28-12 victory.
Blanton was released on September 5, 2020, at the conclusion of the training camp. On September 6, 2020, he was re-signed to the Rams’ practice squad, where he spent the remainder of the 2020 season.
On January 19, 2021, Blanton signed a reserve/future deal with the Rams. He was released following the final roster cuts then re-signed to the Rams practice squad to begin the 2021 season. Blanton was promoted to the active roster for the team’s Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions on October 24, 2021. On October 30, he was added to the active roster.
