Terrence Michael Pegula is a well-known American billionaire businessman and petroleum engineer who owns Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) with his second wife, Kim Pegula (NFL).
Pegula began his career at Getty Oil as a petroleum engineer. He created East Resources in 1983. To start the business, he borrowed $7,500 from his family.
East Resources began looking for oil and drilling for it. Later on, they concentrated on natural gas.
