Kirby Snead was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the tenth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft. Five years later, he made his debut with the organization in the Major League Baseball, bringing his strawberry blonde hair with him.
Snead needed only three pitches to earn two outs as he inherited two baserunners before forcing a double play to close the inning during the game against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.
Snead came into the game as a reliever and pitched against the Boston Red Sox.
It is anyone’s guess whether Snead will stay with the Blue Jays or be reassigned to AAA Buffalo where he has dominated all season posting a 2.01 ERA across 27 appearances.
This is because the team acquired another lefty reliever on Thursday, picking up three-time all-star Brad Hand from the Washington Nationals.
After a year of playing their home games in Florida and Buffalo, the Toronto Blue Jays are getting ready to make their long-awaited return to Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Fans of the Blue Jays are sure to be excited to finally witness their team in action, along with all of the new looks and fashions that come along with it.
Who Are Kirby Snead Parents?
Mary Ann McElroy Snead is Kirby’s mother. However, there is no record of his father’s identity.
