The New York Giants took a chance on Landon Alexander Collins and picked him up in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
In Alabama, where he played collegiate football, he was a member of the team that triumphed in the 2013 Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game.
Collins was selected for the All-Pro Team in 2016 and participated in three Pro Bowls while playing for the Giants during the course of his career.
Collins was a two-sport athlete and a defensive back in football for which he earned All-American honours. He averaged 13.7 yards per carry on the ground while rushing for a total of 1,218 yards and 21 touchdowns.
As a senior, he recorded 34 tackles and four interceptions, of which he returned two for touchdowns. In all, he scored two touchdowns.
During his time at Dutchtown High School, he was consistently ranked among the best sprinters in the state. As a freshman with the Crimson Tide, Collins participated in all 14 games and finished the season with 17 tackles.
As a junior, he finished first on the team with 98 tackles, tied for first place in interceptions, and was selected as an All-American by every coach in the country.
Collins joined the 2015 NFL Draft after completing his junior year of college football. It was important for him to compete for another national championship and to complete his education, so he made the decision to skip his senior year of high school.
Meet Gerald Willis and Gerrah Willis
One of Landon’s siblings is named Gerrah Willis, and he has two brothers named Gerald Willis and Justin Collins.
In addition, Gerald participated in collegiate football while attending both the University of Florida and the University of Miami. Additionally, Gerrah Willis participated in games for the Baltimore Ravens.
On the other hand, very little information is known about his siblings.
