A car accident claimed the life of comedian and actor Leslie Jordan on Monday in Hollywood. He was best known for his roles in the television shows “Will and Grace” and “American Horror Story,” as well as his upbeat pandemic videos posted on Instagram.
In 2006, Jordan, at 67 years old, was honored with a prime-time Emmy for his work in the role of Beverley Leslie on the popular television program “Will and Grace.”
Officer Lizbeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that Jordan was driving a BMW when he drove into the side of a building near the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Romaine Street in Hollywood at 9:30 a.m. Jordan was at the wheel of the vehicle.
The veteran actor and writer was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
It was not immediately obvious if Jordan had died as a result of the incident itself or had suffered a medical emergency before it; nevertheless, the state of the vehicle suggested that Jordan may have lost control of the vehicle before ramming into the building.
