Madeleine Albright Husband: Meet Joseph Medill Patterson Albright
Joseph Medill Patterson Albright is an American businessman and news publisher. He is the former husband of Madeleine Albright.
Born in 1937, Joseph is said to have married Madeleine in the year 1959 but unfortunately, the couple couldn’t stay together any longer as they divorced in the year 1982.
Joseph after divorcing Madeleine married his second wife by the name of Marcia Kunstel.
He is said to be a father to three children by the names of; Alice Patterson Albright, Katherine Medill Albright and Anne Korbel Albright.
Patterson’s grandfather happens to be Adam Emory Albright and Clara Wilson Albright.
He was born as Joseph Medill Patterson Reeve to Jay Frederick Reeve (1893–1956), a lawyer, and his wife, née Josephine Medill Patterson (1913–1996), a reporter and aeroplane pilot.
Albright attended Williams College. He met Madeleine Jana Korbel (the late Madeline Albright)when she spent a summer working at the Denver Post. They married in 1959 after Madeleine’s graduation from Wellesley College.
Madeleine Albright is said to have been the first female secretary of state in U.S. history. She is said to be of both American and Czech nationality.
Albright died on 23rd March 2022 after battling cancer for some time. She was 84 years at the time of her death
