Tennis professional from the Czech Republic named Marie Bouzková. On July 21, 1998, she was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She started playing tennis at her parent’s tennis club in Prague.

When she was ten years old, her family relocated to Florida, and she spent two years receiving training at Bollietieri Academy before continuing to work with her father and then Requena starting in 2014. Marie admires Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams as athletes. She can speak some English, Spanish, and German in addition to Czech.

At Indiana University East, Marie is now pursuing a degree in business administration. She reached her top WTA singles ranking of 46 on August 31, 2020. She reached her highest WTA doubles ranking of No. 24 on May 9, 2022. She’s already won three doubles championships on the WTA Tour.

Bouzková has won three double titles and 12 singles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit. In the championship match, she defeated Anhelina Kalinina to claim the 2014 US Open girls’ singles crown. Bouzková gained notoriety after overcoming Sloane Stephens, Jeena Ostapenko, and Simona Halep to go to the 2019 Rogers Cup semifinals, where she was defeated by Serena Williams. With a 6-1 victory in the first set, she forced the former world No. 1 into three sets despite losing. She and her countrywoman Lucie Hradecká won their maiden WTA tournament doubles championship at the Birmingham Classic in 2021.
