Michael Grove, an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was born on December 18, 1996.
He was selected in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Dodgers out of West Virginia University.
Grove had Tommy John’s surgery while in West Virginia in May 2017. He didn’t make his professional debut until 2019 when he started 21 games for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
He participated in 21 games with the Tulsa Drillers in 2021 after missing the 2020 season owing to the minor league season being canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
In November 2021, he was added to the Dodgers’ 40-man roster.
