Mithali Dorai Raj (born 3 December 1982) is a former Indian cricketer who captained the Indian women’s national team in Test and ODI matches.

She bats in the upper-middle order and bowls right-arm leg breaks on occasion. Raj is the all-time leading run-scorer in women’s international cricket and is widely regarded as one of the finest female cricketers of all time.

In international cricket, she owns a number of records. In Women’s One Day International matches, she is the only female cricketer to reach the 7,000-run mark.

She is the only player in ODI history to score seven straight 50s. Raj also owns the WODI record for the most half-century.

Raj became the leading run-scorer in women’s international cricket in the third WODI match against England in July 2021. Charlotte Edwards’ previous record of 10,273 runs was surpassed.

Raj declared her retirement from all forms of international cricket on June 8, 2022.
