A well-known offensive tackle for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, Morgan Moses is a professional football player. He received two all-state, all-region, and all-district selections while he was a student at Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, Virginia.
He played prep football at Fork Union Military Academy for a year after first committed to Virginia in order to meet the academic requirements to attend the University of Virginia and play for the Virginia Cavaliers. During his final season with the Cavaliers, he started every one of the 12 games at left tackle and had a total of 43 starts. He earned third-team All-ACC honors.. At the 2014 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins selected him in the third round.
On May 29, 2014, he agreed to a $3.05 million, four-year contract. That season, he only made one start, and in December, he was put on injured reserve. He agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Redskins in April 2017. Moses filled in at left tackle in Week 10 of the 2020 campaign. He switched positions the following week, starting at left tackle as the team defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.
He switched back to playing right tackle in Week 13. He was released by the Redskins on May 20, 2021, then on July 2, 2021, he agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the New York Jets. Moses agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens in March 2022.
