Morgan Moses is a well-known offensive tackle who plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. While attending Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, Virginia, he was selected twice for all-state, all-region, and all-district teams. After making his initial commitment to Virginia, he spent a year playing prep football at Fork Union Military Academy.
This was done in order to complete the necessary academic requirements to enroll in the University of Virginia and play for the Virginia Cavaliers. He had a total of 43 starts during his final season with the Cavaliers, starting each of the 12 games at left tackle. The Washington Redskins selected him in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
He signed a $3.05 million, four-year deal on May 29, 2014. That season, he only made one start, and in December, he was put on injured reserve. In April 2017, he and the Redskins came to a five-year contract extension agreement. In Week 10 of the 2020 season, Moses filled in at left tackle.
The following week, he switched positions and began playing left tackle as the club defeated the Cincinnati Bengals. In Week 13, he resumed at right tackle. After being released by the Redskins on May 20, 2021, he signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the New York Jets on July 2, 2021. Moses and the Baltimore Ravens reached a three-year, $15 million contract in March 2022.
