Myjai Sanders, an outside linebacker with the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, was born on July 12, 1998. He attended Cincinnati during his college football career before being selected by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
After transferring to Camden County High School in Kingsland, Georgia before his junior year, Sanders attended William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was raised.
The Brunswick News recognized him as a member of the Coastal Georgia All-Area team after he finished his senior season with 39 tackles, three sacks, and seven quarterback hurries.
Sanders turned down offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Washington State, and UCF to play collegiate football at Cincinnati.

As a sophomore, he received the starting nod and finished the year with 40 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks.
As a junior, Sanders was recognized as a Chuck Bednarik Award semifinalist. He had six tackles and 1.5 sacks in a 49-10 victory over Memphis, earning him the title of American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
The Arizona Cardinals selected Sanders in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 100th overall.
