The New York Jets are a New York City-based American football franchise. The New York Jets are a member of the American Football Conference East division of the National Football League.

Here is a list of The Top 10 New York Jets For The 2021 Season

1. George Fant

On 594 pass-blocking snaps, Fant allowed the third-lowest percentage of pressures (3.0 percent) among left tackles. There were only two players who did better than Andrew Whitworth and Tyron Smith.

When Fant appeared in 15 games this season, he allowed no more than three pressures in any of them. Throughout his 14 games, he only allowed three pressures, two pressures in nine games, and none in four.

2. Michael Carter

In just 14 games, rookie running back Michael Carter racked up 964 yards and four touchdowns. He ran for 639 yards on 147 carries, averaging 4.3 yards per attempt. Carter also had 36 receptions for 325 yards on 55 targets.

3. John Franklin-Myers

The Jets relied on John Franklin-Myers as a constant presence on the outside. Since PFF began keeping track in 2006, he ranks 18th with 53 pressures, the highest ever recorded by a Jets edge rusher. As a pass-rusher, Franklin-Myers generated pressure 12.3% of the time.

4. Elijah Moore

Elijah Moore took some time to get rolling in terms of stats, but it was not his fault. The year started with him being quite open. Just couldn’t seem to get Zach Wilson to connect with him. As soon as he started getting the attention he deserved, Moore was transformed into a lethal weapon. Moore caught 34 of 51 passes for 459 yards and five touchdowns in his final six games.

5. Bryce Hall

When it came to opposing wide receivers, Bryce Hall performed admirably this season. Cornerbacks ranked him fourth in coverage snaps (668) but 17th in yards allowed (638). He gave up less than one yard per cover snap, which ranks him 17th. With 17 forced incomplete passes, he was the second-best cornerback in the league.

6. Quinnen Williams

At one point, Quinnen Williams was on his way to becoming an established superstar, but his production plummeted in the second half. Williams had a very excellent year overall, but it wasn’t quite good enough to earn him a spot in the Pro Bowl or an All-Pro selection. A total of 15 games produced 53 tackles, three passes defended and 12 quarterback hits for a 6.0-sack total.

7. C.J. Mosley

Even though he wasn’t the household name he once was, C.J. Mosley had a good year. His coverage and tackling were less efficient than they had been in the past, but he still performed well overall.

8. Braxton Berrios

Braxton Berrios was second in punt return average (13.4) and second in kickoff return average (13.4) for the season (30.4). Two touchdowns were scored by Berrios on 46 of 65 targets while he ran seven times for 40 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

9. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Running back Duvernay-Tardif was an excellent fit for the Jets’ running style, exhibiting an impressive knack for making space blocks. However, he is adequate in the mental aspects of pass protection in one-on-one scenarios. As a teammate, he performs an excellent job at offering assistance and keeping an eye out for stunts and blitzes.

10. Connor McGovern

In terms of run blocking, Connor McGovern is a perfect fit for the New York Jets’ system. Even if he struggles with the mental element of pass protection (stunt pickups, blitz pickups, setting protections), his one-on-one pass protection more than makes up for it.
