Nolan Laufenberg is a guard with the Washington Commanders of the National Football League. He weighs 143 kg and stands 1.4 m tall. He attended Castle View High School, where he participated in football and was selected as an offensive all-conference performer three times. Additionally, he belonged to the National Honor Society and the German Honor Society.
After his final year of high school in 2016, he enrolled to the United States Air Force Academy to play for the Falcon football team. He didn’t play in any varsity games as a true freshman in 2017. As a sophomore, he participated in twelve games, starting nine of them. After playing in all thirteen games the next season, he was selected first-team all-Mountain West Conference and first-team all-Colorado.
In 2019, he took part in all 13 games and made 12 starts. In terms of knockdowns, he also led the group. He was only able to play in six games of the 2020 season due to COVID-19. The Denver Broncos signed Laufenberg as an undrafted free agent after the 2021 NFL Draft ended without him being selected. On August 24, 2021, he was cut by the Denver Broncos.
He joined the practice squad of the Washington Commanders football team in September 2021. After the regular season of 2021, he agreed to a reserve/future contract. He was released by the Commanders in August 2022, and the following day he joined the training squad.
