Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked world No. 3 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
From 2012 to 2015 he was the best male tennis player in the world by a wide margin, winning four out of his five ATP Finals championships in a row 2012 to 2015.
When Djokovic finished at No. 3 for four straight years from 2010 to 2011, he went on to win six Wimbledon titles and three US Open crowns in the following decade. In 2015, Djokovic reached fifteen finals in a row, including the finals of all four major tournaments and eight Masters 1000 finals.
A season-record six Masters events, three Grand Slams, and the ATP Finals made him the most successful player in tennis history.
His first career in Grand Slam came the following year when he won the 2016 French Open, making him the first man in the Open Era to complete the Grand Slam without using a calendar year.
For the first time since 1969, he became the first player in history to hold all four major titles at the same time, and the only one to do so on three separate courts.
