Orlando Arcia, born Orlando Jesús Arcia on August 4, 1994, is a professional baseball player of Venezuelan descent who positions as a shortstop for the Atlanta Braves baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He is 1.83m tall and is the number 11 jersey owner in the team.
Orlando was signed as an undrafted International free agent by the Milwaukee Brewers in October 2010. The following year, he made his professional debut playing with the Dominican Summer League Brewers.
During Brewer’s spring training in 2012, Orlando got injured so he could not play in the 2012 baseball. He was fit to play in the 2013 season and played for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League and in the 2014 season, he played for the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League.
Between 2014 and 2015, he played for the Caribes de Anzoategui of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League, a winter league that is held during the MLB’s offseason. He was honoured in 2015 as the Brewers Minor League Player of the Year and was added to their 40-man roster when the season ended.
He made his MLB debut on August 2 2016 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In April 2021, the Brewers traded him to the Atlanta Braves.
