Patrick Ricard is a fullback with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 1.91 m tall and weighs 137 kg. He attended David Prouty High School. He won two Division II defensive MVP titles at Central Massachusetts there, where he played football. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Maine.
From 2013 to 2016, he played defensive line for the Maine Black Bears. In 2012, he was given a redshirt. He participated in all 13 of the games throughout the season, recording a total of 19 solo stops, 40 tackles with others, 1 sack, 2 pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble. He was named to the College Sports Journal FCS Second Team All-Freshman team.
In addition to being selected to the First Team All-CAA, ECAC Division I FCS, STATS FCS Third Team All-American, and New England Football Writers Division I All-New England Teams in 2016, he played in 11 games, all of which he started. He played in 44 games throughout the course of his college career, compiling 208 tackles overall, 18 sacks, 11 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles, 1 recovered fumble, and 2 blocked kicks.
His professed major at the University of Maine was economics. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May 2017. He was placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in January 2022. In March 2022, Ricard and the Ravens reached an agreement on a three-year contract extension.
