In American football, Preston Williams plays wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He was born on March 27, 1997, in Lovejoy, Georgia, a city in the United States of America. While attending Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia, he participated in high school football.
He played collegiate football at the University of Tennessee after finishing high school. He caught 16 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns during his two seasons of competition at Tennessee (2015–2016). He transferred to Colorado State University in 2017 and then returned to his football career while playing football for the Colorado State Rams.
Williams became an undrafted free agent and signed with the Miami Dolphins in May 2019. He was added to the list of 53 players. He made his NFL debut when the Dolphins played the Baltimore Ravens in the team’s 2019 season opener.
In Week 5 of the 2020 season, he had four receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown reception of 32 yards during their 43-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. In November 2020, he had a foot injury and was placed on injured reserve. He extended his deal with the Dolphins by one year in March 2022.
