Quez Watkins, a member of the 2020 NFL draft class is in his third season with the Eagles. Watkins was initially drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round with the 200th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Southern Miss.

Watkins, 24 is a native of Athens, Alabama. He went to Athens High School for his secondary education and played football at a high level there.
During the first two games of his junior year, he scored touchdowns on punt and kickoff returns. In his senior year, he caught 44 receptions for 847 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning him a spot on the second team of the 6A All-State.
As a sought-after athlete, he had a lot of college offers from Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee State, Western Kentucky, and Samford but chose Southern Miss.
Watkins enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016. During his first year as a true freshman, Watkins did not play. The following season, he finished with 23 receptions, 337 yards, and two touchdowns from those receptions.
Watkins was nominated to the First team after leading the Golden Eagles in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches as a redshirt sophomore. He had 72 receptions, 889 receiving yards, and nine touchdown catches.
