Dominique Raheem Mostert plays as a running back for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League. Mostert competed in track and field and football while attending New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. With his leadership, Mostert guided New Smyrna Beach to two postseason berths. He transferred to Purdue University after his final season.
Mostert established a school record in his first year of college by averaging 33.5 yards on returns, culminating in a 99-yard touchdown return in the bowl game. He had seven returns of 39 yards or more at the end of the season, including two of 81 yards at Indiana and 74 yards at Wisconsin. Mostert picked up 206 yards on five kickoff returns against the Badgers, shattering school records for overall yardage and average yards per return that had stood for 42 years.

Mostert competed on the football and track & field teams at New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Mostert had four touchdowns as a senior and had 39 receptions for 723 yards (18.5 average) as a football player for coach Lance Jenkins. Mostert also returned nine kickoffs and a punt for touchdowns.
He made 81 defensive tackles as well. Mostert won the MVP award for the Central Florida All-Star Game in 2010 after catching three passes for almost 100 yards and returning a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown. He also played in the Florida North vs. South football game.
