Randy Travis William Dobnak is one the professional baseball players who play as a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins in baseball. He was born on January 17, 1995, and grew up in Pennsylvania.
At South Park High School in South Park Township, Pennsylvania, he participated in high school baseball. After high school, he enrolled at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia, where he played college baseball for the Battlers in the NCAA Division II.
In August 2017, the Minnesota Twins signed him to a minor league contract. They provided him with a $500 signing bonus after he decided to play for them. He was made to play for both the Elizabethton Twins and the Cedar Rapids Kernels for the remainder of the season.
The Twins initially sent him to the Class A-Advanced Fort Myers Miracle during the 2019 minor league season before upgrading him to the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Triple-A Rochester Red Wings. He was given a contract by the Twins, and in August 2019 they promoted him to the major leagues. On August 9, 2019, he made his MLB debut for the Twins.
