Colombian-born professional tennis player Robert Charbel Farah Maksoud, formerly ranked No. 1 in the world in doubles, was born on January 20, 1987.
At the University of Southern California, where he played collegiate tennis from 2006 to 2010, Farah participated as a USC Trojan and won two NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championships.
Although he had a career-high singles rating of 163 in June 2011, his doubles play has been where he has found the most success.
Farah and Juan Sebastián Cabal, both two-time Grand Slam champions, won the men’s doubles championships at the US Open and Wimbledon Championships in 2019.
