Robert Quinn is an American football defensive end who currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.
Quinn was born on May 18, 1990. (NFL). After playing college football in North Carolina, the St. Louis Rams selected him as the 14th overall choice in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
He is now playing with the Rams. Quinn was a defensive end on the squad when he played high school football for the Fort Dorchester Patriots.
After undergoing brain surgery to remove a benign tumour during his senior year, his season had to be cut short.
Before undergoing surgery, Quinn had accumulated 54 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 21 quarterback hurries in his career.
In addition, Quinn won the 4A wrestling state championship in the heavyweight division three times. He was a member of the North Carolina Tar Heels football team while Quinn was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
where the school is located. Quinn started 12 of the 13 games he played in as a freshman in 2008, earning 34 tackles (6.5 for losses), two quarterback sacks, and two forced fumbles.
He also recorded two quarterback hurries. In addition to that, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) recognized him as the player with the most bravery and awarded him the Brian Piccolo Award.
In 2009, Quinn led the ACC with 52 tackles and was 15th in the nation with 19.0 tackles for losses and 11.0 sacks. He was also the leader of the ACC.
