Ryan Seacrest Parents: Meet Constance Marie Zullinger and Gary Lee Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest is best known as the host of the American Idol competition, but he also has a radio presenting and producing career.

He was nominated for an Emmy 11 times and won in 2010 for his work as a producer on Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution show.

Meet Constance Marie Zullinger

Connie Seacrest is the Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s Vice President of Community Affairs and Hospital Relations. She is the amazing mother of Ryan Seacrest.

Gary Lee Seacrest is her husband, and they have two children together. Connie is a resident of Atlanta, where Ryan and Meredith grew up, and she is active in her community.

She routinely visits the Seacrest Studio at Children’s Healthcare in Atlanta to meet patients, thank celebrity guests, and interact with interns who help with the studio’s day-to-day operations.

Connie regularly visits various studios across the country to ensure that they are receiving the assistance they require and are operating to their full capacity.

Hearing parents share their tales about how a studio has aided their child’s recovery is really moving for Connie.

Gary Lee Seacrest

Gary Lee Seacrest was the son of US Army General Henry Skeen. He was born and raised in Alabama. Gary aspired to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the military.

He was a student at Officer Candidate School and would be stationed in West Berlin. He went to a dance party with his old schoolmate Constance just before his vacation to Germany.

Even though the Vietnam War was still going on and Gary could easily be deployed there as a soldier, the chemistry between them started right away, and Gary proposed to her.

They were stationed in Germany for two years before returning to Alabama, Georgia, and settling down. Gary left service to pursue a career as a real estate attorney.
