How Did Sarah Langlands Die?
Sarah Langlands, a single mother of four who battled terminal colon cancer and would wake up drenched in sweat every night, was proclaimed dead.
Doctors had warned Sarah Langlands, 35, that western medicine couldn’t keep her alive, so she said she wanted to go to Thailand for a ‘last attempt at a cure’ so she could watch her children grow up.
Despite this, it appeared that the ‘holistic’ treatment given at the Thai centre was ineffective. Sarah Langlands, age 35, passed away after a fight with colon cancer that lasted for 14 months.
The mother experienced her first sign of illness a year ago when cancer spread to her liver. She persevered through weeks of night sweats despite her doctors’ refusal to take it seriously.
After that, she discovered a lump, and an ultrasound technician identified it as fatty tissue for her. After a few weeks had passed, she ended herself in the hospital where she was given a diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer.
She fought for her life to be able to see her four little children through their formative years. Sarah’s sister broke the news in a tragic message, revealing that she had lost the fight on Tuesday, which left the entire family distraught.
Sarah’s family doctor eventually referred her to the hospital for a comprehensive exam after she had been seeking treatment from doctors for months.
Cancer may be treated effectively in 90 per cent of people if identified early, as she advised her friends and family to do.
