Scottie Scheffler is a part of the PGA Tour and has recently been ranked as the world’s number one golfer. Scottie defeated Rory Mcllroy in the 2022 golf Masters Tournament that was held in April 2022 to become the 5th golfer to enter the Master’s Tournament and to be ranked number one in the whole world.
Scottie was born to Scott and Diane Scheffler in Ridgewood, New Jersey on June 21, 1996. He played golf when he was a high school student at the Highland Park High School. He also played college golf at the University of Texas where he was enrolled at.
During his time in college, he was named “Phil Mickelson Freshman of the Year” after he led the golf team to win three Big 12 championships. In August 2019, Scottie won the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship that was held in Columbus.
At the end of the competition, Scottie was leading both the Finals points list and the overall points list which earned him a fully exempt PGA Tour card for the 2020 golf season.

Scottie was born alongside three other siblings. His elder sister, Callie Scheffler also happens to be a golf player who played golf when she was at Texas A&M University.
Callie was also the president of the Texas A&M Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during her time in college.
Molly Scheffler and Sara Scheffler are only popular for being the sisters of the Scottie Scheffler. Details of their lives are unknown.
