Meet Sergeĭ Lavrov’s Daughter Ekaterina Lavrova
Ekaterina Lavrova is Sergey and Maria Lavrova’s only child. She was born in the United States in 1982 and spent her entire childhood and youth there.
Her mother, a philologist and a teacher of Russian language and literature tried to foster a love of art in her daughter.
Lavrova’s life was turned upside down when her father, Sergey Lavrov, was named Russian representative to the UN and served as senior adviser to the Soviet mission when she was four years old.
Ekaterina Lavrova spent the following 17 years of her life in New York. She studied political science at Columbia University in New York.
Lavrova met her future husband, Alexander Vinokurov, the son of a pharmaceutical billionaire
Alexander Vinokurov is now a powerful figure: he is a partner in the Marathon Group investment firm, and his assets are handled by Marathon Farm.
Lavrova is presently employed by the Smart Art company, which specializes in art production and exhibition design.
It was formed in 2016 by Ekaterina Vinokurova and Anastasia Karneeva, the daughter of one of Putin’s allies who own a fighter jet manufacturer.
At the Venice Biennale, Smart Art is in charge of the Russian Pavilion. As a result of the war in Ukraine, this has subsequently been canceled.
