Sergey Mikhailovich Brin is known to be the sixth richest person in the world. He is an American business magnate, a computer scientist and an Internet guru. He is a Co-founder for Google and a Co-founder of Alphabet Incorporation. He was born on August 21, 1973.
He attended Maryland’s Eleanor Roosevelt High School. In September 1990, Brin enrolled in the University of Maryland, where he graduated in 1993 with honors in computer science and mathematics from the Department of Computer Science at the age of 19. He worked as an intern at Wolfram Research, which created Mathematica, in 1993.
With funding from the National Science Foundation, Brin started his graduate computer science studies at Stanford University. He graduated with an M.S. in computer science in 1995. Brin made a $4.5 million investment in Virginia-based Space Adventures in June 2008.
In addition to two Gulfstream V aircraft owned by Google executives, Brin and Page jointly own a customized Boeing 767-200 and a Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet and pay $1.3 million annually to keep them at Moffett Federal Airfield. NASA has equipped the aircraft with scientific hardware to enable the collection of experimental data while in flight.
