The top groundskeeper for Arsenal, Steve Braddock, is known to have died at the age of 58. In 1987, he is known to have joined forces with the Gunners, better known as Premier League team Arsenal. He stepped into the role of being the exact person required to take care of the pitch at Highbury at the time.
Steve became successful in his role when he exceeded in his job where he was known to have won the Premier League Pitch of the Season award numerous times together as Turf’s Top Influencer in the year 2019. Then in the year 2020, he was known to have entered the Grounds Management Association’s Hall of Fame.
Before he showed an early interest in the Emirates, he was well-known for his work on the Highbury turf. He also worked on a number of the 11-a-side pitches at Arsenal’s training facility in London Colney. In addition, he shared his expertise with other groundskeepers and had Arsene Wenger as a mentor in North London. It was a father-son bond between him and Arsene Wenger.
