Tanner Conner is a tight end with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League in the sport of American football. He attended Idaho State University for his college football career.
Conner spent his childhood in Kent, Washington, and graduated from Kentridge High School, where he competed as a hurdler on the track team in addition to playing basketball and football.
When he was a senior, he competed in the 300-meter hurdles and won the state championship. Conner had already committed to running track at Idaho State before the school extended an offer for him to play collegiate football there, as he had not been recruited to play college football initially.

During his first year of college football at Idaho State, Conner redshirted. Conner finished his redshirt sophomore season with 47 receptions for 792 yards and eight touchdowns, which led to him being recognized as an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference player.
Tanner Conner Pro Career
On April 30, 2022, the Miami Dolphins decided to take a chance on Conner and sign him as an undrafted free agent. This occurred not long after the completion of the 2022 NFL Draft. After training camp was through, he was included on the Dolphins’ first 53-man roster.
