Tanner Hudson is now a tight end for American football with the New York Giants of the National Football League. He was conceived on November 12, 1994, in Paris. He attended Southern Arkansas for his college football career.
Hudson was raised in Big Sandy, Tennessee after being born in Paris, Tennessee. He played football and basketball while a student at Camden Central High School. On April 29, 2018, Hudson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reached an understanding on a non-drafted free-agent contract.
Tanner Hudson was reinstated to the Buccaneer’s practice squad on September 2, 2018, following his release at the conclusion of training camp.
For the final two weeks of the 2018 campaign, Hudson was upgraded to the active roster; however, he did not play in either game.
Hudson re-signed with the Buccaneers for one season on March 13, 2020. He was released by the Buccaneers on September 5, 2020, as part of the team’s final roster cuts. The following day, he was added to the practice squad.
He was included on the active roster on September 19 in time for the team’s Week 2 game against the Carolina Panthers. He was added back to the practice squad the next day.
On September 3, 2021, Hudson was added to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. He was added to the active roster on January 1st, 2022.
He and the 49ers reached an agreement on a reserve/future deal on February 2, 2022.
